Just got this, mixable oil paint. Sound interesting.

1/144 GM Heavy Weapon final draft
Just finished the final design of my massively armed 1/144 GM. Now, still thinking of the color scheme. I always prefer grey tone.

Hole of the day.
See those pesky hallow part from Bandai ? Here how I fix them up real quick and ready to paint within 5-10 minutes.
Uhhh...holes... |
Fill it up with some pla plate chips. |
Pour in some baby powder+CA glue to fill the rest of the gap. During the cure time place the filled part facing down. |
Ready to sand it within 5-10 minutes. Or you can fill it up with option parts. :P |

Mask of the day.
The foil stickers that come with the gunpla kit, it usually bundle with 1/144 model kit due to lack of color separation. Seasoned gunpla modeller usually just ignore them, because it is thick, the color is not very good and it will come of eventually.
However I try to put this sticker sheet into good use, as a masking tools. I need to prime the model kit with surfacer and airbrush it with lacquer paint. For the demo, I will use a HGUC 1/144 GM-III.
This technique is useful when come to masking complicated area. And due to it low-tack of the sticker it will not peel off the paint easily, provide the model kit is primed, airbrushed with lacquer base paint and remove the sticker within 24 hours. I have not try this technique with hand paint, acrylic and enamel paint. So, try it at your own risk.

Tool of the day.
Disposable plastic sauce cup. I use this to mix paint, putty, super gluing...etc. Just tired of using the metal paint cup, because need to wash it. Sometimes I just grab some from fast food restaurant, that's the goodness of self-service. Word of caution, only use this product with hobby thinner.

HGUC 1/144 GM-III Unicorn version
My latest built. HGUC 1/144 scale GM-III. Nice kit even straight build is very cool looking.
I just swap the generic Earth Federation shield with a Jegan use shield. I never like the EF generic shield, hate the cross.
I use the HIQ parts decal for the 038, it look awesome. Covering power of the decal is top notch, and the edge of the decal is very very neat. Highly recommend. But not much choice, too bad.
